Dear Members and Followers,
The
Uncial script was used by scribes between the 4th and 8th Centuries.
Over time the lettering has evolved into the modern variations we see
today. It’s a script that remains popular because of its ease of
writing and legibility, making it an ideal script for our new members to
learn. We won’t forget our experienced calligraphers in the workshop
because we will be looking at some variations to make the lettering more
contemporary.
The project I have planned is the first phase of making a lid for one of the boxes planned for the November Calliarts.
