Love February - Calligraphy - Workshop

 Dear Members and Followers,

Still have a warm glow from our Calliarts on 13th February then you'll love our workshop on 20th February with Glenis Sheather.

Our first workshop for the year is Running Bookhand.  This modern variation of a 10th Century hand is easily read and written, which makes it an ideal script for beginners.  Experienced calligraphers can use the workshop as a refresher, as well as extending their knowledge of this script by using different pens and writing on curves.  In this workshop both minuscules and majuscules will be covered, with the aim of producing a small project.

Venue: Sylvania Community Hall - Canberra Rd, Sylvania NSW

Time: 12pm to 4pm

Cost: $35 members - $45 non-members

Bookings essential: email southscribes@yahoo.com.au
