The final lettering course for 2015, reduced to 4 weeks takes a twist and looks at colour. Our founding member Gloria Scott, will each be teaching four weeks of the course designed to increase your knowledge or introduce you to the concept of colour and calligraphy.
Calligraphers
paint pictures with words, so the colour/s you choose for your script or
background design can have a real effect on the feeling and emotion of your
work.
The classic combination of black, red & white will always look good,
but colour will make your work sing.
To commence, we will be creating a colour wheel and then it will be onto use of colour in our calligraphy.
